Administrative Assistant

The California Hospital Association is the statewide leader representing the interests of hospitals, health systems, and other health care providers in California.  CHA represents more than 400 hospitals and health systems and 94 percent of the patient beds in California.

We are currently looking for an experienced administrative professional to provide support for two Vice Presidents.  Duties include managing calendars; coordinating meetings; maintaining distribution lists and rosters; updating website content; organizing work flow and files; preparing documents and summaries of written materials; preparing agendas and meeting materials; making travel arrangements; processing expenses; and providing general support and project management for supervisors.

The successful candidate will have at least 5 years prior executive-level administrative support experience in a professional office setting; proficiency with MS Office software; excellent communication, writing, proofreading, and customer service skills; experience with website maintenance; a professional and helpful demeanor; ability to organize, plan, manage time, and work independently; ability and willingness to work as an effective team member; and a terrific “can-do” attitude.
