Administrative Assistant

The California Hospital Association is the statewide leader representing the interests of hospitals, health systems, and other health care providers in California.

We are looking for an experienced administrative assistant to provide support in our Information Services department. Duties include managing mobile device accounts and upgrades (cell phones, tablets, mobile hot spots); preparing expense reports for IS staff; preparing a weekly technology tip email; purchasing and invoice processing; fixed assets tracking and reconciliation; printer and fax supply inventory and ordering; office phone list and global address list maintenance; equipment checkout; supporting off-site events and conferences as needed and other administrative duties as assigned.  May provide back up support to the Help Desk, including tracking and following-up on Help Desk requests and maintaining the department calendar.

The successful candidate will have at least 3 years of prior administrative experience in an office setting; professional demeanor; excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; proficiency with MS Office software; excellent communication skills; strong computer skills; ability to work independently; and a terrific “can-do” attitude. Interest in technology is a plus.
