Administrative Assistant

We have an immediate need for an experienced administrative professional to provide support for the California Hospital Engagement Network.  This position is funded by a grant from the U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.  Duties include, but are not limited to: composing and preparing a variety of documents, materials, and correspondence; maintaining lists and contacts; managing multiple calendars; scheduling and coordinating meetings; maintaining website content; coordinating webinar registrations and providing technical support during webinar sessions as needed; answering phones; maintaining files; coordinating travel arrangements and expenses; and assisting with federal grant compliance. 

The successful candidate will have at least 3 years prior administrative support experience in a professional office setting; proficiency with MS Office software; excellent communication, both orally and in writing; strong proofreading skills; outstanding customer service skills and professional demeanor; ability to handle sensitive and confidential materials in a professional manner; ability to work on multiple projects, prioritize and meet deadlines in a time sensitive environment; ability to organize and be detail-oriented, plan, manage time, and work independently; ability to adapt well to changing priorities with a positive attitude, ability and willingness to work as an effective team member; and possess a terrific “can-do” attitude.
