The California Hospital Engagement Network is offering a One-Day TeamSTEPPS Essentials Course that will equip your hospital team to improve the quality and safety of patient care by:

Julia Slininger, RN, BS, CPHQ has over 30 years of experience in healthcare quality improvement, and is currently the Vice President, Quality and Patient Safety at HASC. She has worked with individual hospitals as well as collaborative groups of provider organizations across the continuum, to improve processes and outcomes in quality, patient safety, risk management, infection control, medical staff peer review, and other related performance improvement activities. Julia is a Master Trainer for the TeamSTEPPS teamwork training program, applicable to many areas of healthcare quality improvement and medical error reduction. Having worked with more than 100 California hospitals during her 11 years with Lumetra, and as many hospitals currently with HASC, she has obtained a broad knowledge of the various approaches that different provider organizations take in managing the many objectives of their Quality and Performance Improvement Programs.

Continuing Education

Nursing — Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, CEP #11924, for 7.1 Contact Hours.

Registration, full attendance at the educational session is a prerequisite for receiving professional continuing education. Attendance at the post training webinar is strongly encouraged. Attendees must sign in at the seminar and, when required, include professional license number. Certificates will be mailed.
