Members of the California Hospital Engagement Network are urged to participate in an important web seminar on the data reporting requirements, target measures for improving patient care, and the process to get started.

Participate in this program and you will learn:

  • Data reporting requirements
  • Target measures for each clinical area of improvement
  • Options for reporting 
  • How to set up the automatic transfer of data by “conferring rights”
  • What to do to get started — setting up a user account, reporting baseline and new data 
  • The benefits of the national database — benchmarking and comparing results  

These are critical first steps that will help track the progress of your hospital’s improvement program over the next 18 months.

Who should attend:
Quality leaders and data coordinators, along with all other staff involved with the hospital’s engagement network activities. Team members are encouraged to gather together and participate under one registration.


While there is no cost for the  program, pre-registration is required. Hospital staff can gather and participate together under one registration.

This program allows you to attend and participate without ever leaving the office. The program is produced live, via the Internet and a telephone line. You only need a telephone and a computer with a web browser to participate.

Once you register, a confirmation e-mail will be sent with pertinent program information.

Audio for the seminar is accessed through a toll-free number (U.S. calls only). During the program, you will have the opportunity to ask questions of the speakers. If multiple people will be listening to the program at your office, only one person needs to register for the group. The slide presentation is accessed on your computer via the web.
