Next Steps for California Hospital Engagement Network Web Seminar
Member update, needs assessment results

 CHA, in collaboration with the Regional Associations and our prime contractor, the Health Research & Educational Trust, is leading the California Hospital Engagement Network.

You are part of the nearly 200 hospitals that have committed to making progress toward the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ Partnership for Patient’s goal of reducing patient harm by 40% and readmissions by 20% by 2013.  It is an important undertaking that, when achieved together, promises greater benefit to our patients and communities.

CHA is hosting a complimentary web seminar to share findings from a recent needs assessment survey each hospital completed. Survey results will be used to guide the group’s work plan going forward. The web seminar will include:

  • Brief overview of the California Hospital Engagement Network
  • Needs assessment findings — what we learned and areas of focus
  • Data reporting
  • Next steps

While there is no cost for the  program, pre-registration is required. Hospital staff can gather and participate together under one registration.

Deadline to register is Friday, March 23, 2012, 5:00 p.m.

This program allows you to attend and participate without ever leaving the office. The program is produced live via the Internet and a telephone line. You only need a telephone and a computer with a web browser to participate.

Once you register, a confirmation e-mail will be sent with pertinent program information.

Audio for the seminar is accessed through a toll-free number (U.S. calls only). During the program, you will have the opportunity to ask questions of the speakers. If multiple people will be listening to the program at your office, only one person needs to register for the group. The slide presentation is accessed on your computer via the web.
