Governance Leadership in Health Care Reform Web Seminar
Understanding reform to provide leadership in strategy and implementation

November 30, 2010
12:30 – 2:00 p.m.

The Affordable Care Act is exceptionally broad and complex. Hospital governing boards and executives will need to have a firm grasp on the complexities of reform to make strategic decisions and provide leadership for implementation. This web seminar will help hospital leadership learn about reform’s key provisions and prepare to meet the challenge.

The program will begin with the evolution of the reform movement and an assessment of the current regulatory climate. A macro view of the key provisions of reform follows and sets the stage for an overview of accountable care organizations and exchanges, and an explanation of how quality and payment will converge to create value. How governing boards can provide leadership and bring value to the process will also be interwoven.

Hospital executives are encouraged to bring their boards together to hear this important information and share ideas on how to implement reform.

Recommended for:
First term and veteran trustees, chief executive officers.
