A typical full-size orchestra has as many as 100 members, and here among our four associations and affiliated organizations, we have nearly twice that number of employees.
A modern orchestra has about 20 different instruments, and it’s truly awe-inspiring that such a variety of sounds can come together to produce melodies that ring across generations.
Our associations share many characteristics with orchestras, as each of you bring unique talents, perspectives, and characteristics to work each day. And your work is awe-inspiring in a different way, because the hospitals we support and protect literally save and change lives.
Your energy, your commitment, your time…all support that mission.
You change people’s lives for the better. That’s something of which all of you should be very proud.
In the spirit of coming together to produce something meaningful, we are pleased to share our first internal newsletter, Inside the Associations. This will be a quarterly newsletter, intended to share helpful information across our organizations and, perhaps of greater importance, to more closely connect each of us to our shared work.
As we continue this journey together, it’s important to know who we are and how all of us fit into our One Team “orchestra.”
Our answer to that question:
We are 200 people working toward a common cause.
We are four associations serving the same people.
We are one team, united in purpose and principles.
