Why Stanford and Lucile Packard nurses won’t take hospitals’ best offer

In a recent guest editorial, Nancy Lee and Pam Wells, administrators at Stanford and Lucile Packard hospitals, wrote about the current dispute between their hospitals and nurses. As president of the organization that represents those 2,700 nurses, I thought you would like to know why those nurses overwhelmingly rejected the hospitals’ “last, best and final offer,” and why they are so disappointed with the hospitals’ refusal to negotiate.
