Wholesale prices for acute care rise 0.1%

Wholesale prices for acute-care hospitals inched up 0.1% last month after a 0.5% rise in February, newly released preliminary figures from the Bureau of Labor Statistics show. The producer price index for acute-care hospitals a year ago also climbed 0.1%. For the 12 months that ended in March, the PPI rose 3.5% compared with 2.6% the prior year.
