Quincy area voters Tuesday approved a ballot measure limiting the taxes the Plumas District Hospital can levy on local property owners. Measure B, proposed by local residents to cap the tax at $50 per $100,000 assessed valuation, passed with 52 percent of the votes cast in the mail-ballot election, said Kathy Williams, Plumas County clerk. The vote was 1,522 to 1,383 in favor of capping the tax.
