UC Davis gets grant to market medical innovations

UC Davis Health System has received a two-year $600,000 grant to develop a clinic to train students to turn medical technologies they develop into marketable products.

The National Science Foundation Partnerships for Innovations grant will fund a partnership of scientists, educators and business leaders “to stimulate economic development and build a robust infrastructure to develop innovative medical technology, as well as diverse work force,” a university press release said Friday.
