Two Sutter hospitals get penalties
Sacramento Business Journal

Two hospitals owned by Sacramento-based Sutter Health have been hit with administrative penalties for noncompliance with licensing requirements that caused or were likely to cause serious injury or death to patients. The California Department of Public Health levied the fines. Sutter Davis Hospital was fined $25,000 for failure to follow its own safe medication policies in a March 2008 incident in which a patient allergic to iodine was injected with it for a CT scan without informed consent.
