Tri-City spends more than $120,000 pursuing Sterling in the courts
North County Times

Tri-City Medical Center has spent more than $120,000 in the past year on legal fees related to its ongoing battle with Director Kathleen Sterling, according to bills provided by the public hospital. The bills show that three different law firms have spent hundreds of hours investigating and writing legal briefs regarding Sterling that have led to a string of legal actions against the hospital director. Those actions have been approved by the board majority. Though the legal services have been costly, they’ve been necessary, said Tri-City chief executive officer Larry Anderson.
