Tech firms partner to aid Stanford Hospital

Stanford Hospital & Clinics announced that six giant tech companies in Silicon Valley have teamed to provide $150 million to aid in the construction of a new $2 billion hospital at Stanford Medical Center. The founding members of the new Stanford Hospital Corporate Partners Program — Cupertino-based Apple Inc., San Jose-based eBay Inc., Santa Clara-based Intel Corp., Palo Alto-based Hewlett-Packard Co., Mountain View-based Intuit Inc. and Redwood City-based Oracle Corp. — will provide their contributions over the next 10 years.
