Swine flu hits boys, minority kids hardest, UC Davis study shows

At UC Davis Medical Center, boys and minority children were more likely to need critical care due to H1N1 complications, an abstract published this month in the American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine reveals.

Between May and October 2009, 46 children were admitted to UC Davis Medical Center with severe cases of H1N1, or swine flu.
