Sutter Resource Library marking 25 years of informing patients and doctors

Rosie Castaneda was a professor of education, a researcher at heart. Maybe that’s why the Sutter Resource Library flier caught her eye when she was glancing through the hefty hospital packet for new cancer ward patients.

She began visiting the self-help section of the library to prepare for chemotherapy. Now, post-chemo, with barely an inch and a half of gray-flecked hair on her head, she browses the nutrition section.
