State seeks to shutdown hospitals
The Press-Enterprise

The state warned Monday it will seek to revoke Southwest Healthcare System’s license to run two major hospitals in southwest Riverside County after nearly three years of complaints, inspections and violations at the troubled medical centers. If successful, the action would close Rancho Springs Medical Center in Murrieta and Inland Valley Medical Center in Wildomar, which serve an estimated population of 500,000. It was unclear how long that could take.
