The death of a 52-year-old Sonoma County woman in a Marin County hospital that was triggered when medical staff didn’t turn on her ventilator has been classified as accidental, coroner’s officials said Thursday.

Collette Stott died May 5 in an intensive care unit of Marin General Hospital in Greenbrae from complications of tuberous sclerosis, said Sgt. Keith Boyd, Marin County assistant chief deputy coroner.
