Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital gets stroke accreditation

Chris Pepin, a 61-year-old Santa Rosa resident who suffered a severe stroke last March, swore Wednesday that within six months she’ll be walking without the aid of a cane.

That wish just might come true with the help of medical staff at Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital’s primary stroke center, which last week received certification by the national body that accredits health care institutions.
