February numbers from San Joaquin General Hospital show some improvement, but the county-run hospital’s losses by the end of the fiscal year are projected to be $18 million to $19 million, figures released Tuesday show. The operating loss in February was $995,736, a figure worse than budgeted but better than the average monthly loss of $1.8 million, according to an update on hospital finances submitted Tuesday to the county Board of Supervisors.
