Petaluma Health Center eyes major expansion
Santa Rosa Press Democrat

Anticipating a surge of 20,000 or more new patients in the next six years, the Petaluma Health Center plans a major expansion of its future home. Twenty-one more medical exam rooms and other facilities will be added to the 53,000-square foot building at 1179 N. McDowell Blvd., which the center acquired this year.

On top of an $8.9 million federal grant to renovate the building, which previously housed offices, the center will need to raise $2 million for the expansion, chief executive officer Kathie Powell said.
