Nurses reach tentative agreement with UC

Ending years of short-term contract fights, registered nurses have reached a tentative agreement for a 26-month contract with the University of California. If approved by nurses this week, the agreement between UC management and the California Nurses Association/National Nurses United will be the first multi-year contract since 2002. Disputes and short-term fixes have prompted almost continuous collective bargaining for almost a decade.
