Sacramento Bee

As many as 200 registered nurses at Sutter Rosevile Medical Center are expected to hold rallies today to bring attention to a contract dispute with the hospital over staffing, wages, retirement benefits and other economic issues.

The contract between the California Nurses Association and Sutter Health, which covers more than 800 registered nurses at the Roseville facility, was to have expired June 9, but was extended until today.
