Nurses march into Seton Medical Center to protest proposed layoffs, budget cuts

About 100 nurses Thursday morning sought out Seton Medical Center’s top administrator to demand that she withdraw a proposal to lay off employees and make other budget cuts. The nurses marched into Seton wanting to see hospital President Lorraine Auerbach to voice their concerns about how the proposal would hurt employees and patients, union leader Debra Amour said.
