New Chief Named for Pharmaceutical Lobby
New York Times

The pharmaceutical industry’s Washington trade group has selected another powerhouse as its new president: John J. Castellani, who spent nine years as president of the Business Roundtable, which represents the chief executives of companies that together have $5 trillion in annual revenues.

Mr. Castellani starts work in September for the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America, succeeding Billy Tauzin, a Washington insider who had represented Louisiana in Congress for 26 years.
