Longtime John Muir Health CEO set to retire March 31
San Francisco Business Times

Ken Anderson, the longtime CEO of Walnut Creek’s John Muir Health, told the two-hospital system’s board last night that he intends to retire March 31, according to an internal memo distributed to doctors, employees and volunteers. The move comes after the media-shy Anderson has been with the private, nonprofit hospital for 36 years, and as the nonprofit system nears completion of $800 million in expansion and seismic rebuild projects at its two outer East Bay hospitals.
