Local hospitals will bar most visitors younger than age 16

The days of children tagging along on local hospital visits are over: Except when their mothers give birth, youths under the age of 16 aren’t allowed.

The restrictions are now in effect at Lodi Memorial Hospital and will soon be in place at several other area hospitals. They’re actually a slight loosening of visitation limits that started last fall during the H1N1 flu scare.
