The ball is in motion for the 2013 opening of the highly anticipated Martin Luther King-Harbor Hospital in South Los Angeles.

The $400 million, 120-bed hospital will be run by a private, nonprofit corporation formed by a partnership between the University of California and the former Martin Luther King Drew facility, which closed in three years ago amid a swirl of controversy over its practices and patient care.
