Kaiser Permanente gets OK for San Rafael expansion
San Francisco Business Times

Kaiser Permanente has won an official OK from the city of San Rafael to add more than 250 additional spaces to its San Rafael Medical Center and build a new 17,500-square-foot emergency department to replace an older one. The ER project requires demolition of nearly 15,000 square feet of an existing general services building; part of an existing parking structure also needs to come down to expand the medical center’s overall parking capacity with a new four-story garage.
