John Muir patients unnerved about losing their eye doctors
Contra Costa Times

Hundreds of East Bay patients have been informed they will no longer be able to see their eye doctors as of Jan. 1 because of a bitter contract dispute between the John Muir Physician Network and 35 ophthalmologists. The standoff is creating angst for many patients who worry there won’t be enough eye doctors remaining in the network to see them in a timely manner and provide specialized care. Some are upset about having to leave trusted doctors they have known for years.
