Hundreds get free health exams at Oakland Coliseum
The Mercury News

The numbers reveal the need: By 5:30 a.m. Saturday, 804 uninsured people waiting in the chill outside the Oakland Coliseum — some since 5 p.m. the previous day — had been assigned a number for free dental, vision and medical exams and services, and hundreds more were to follow. In fact, more than 1,000 a day are expected during the course of the event, which continues through Tuesday.
