HP wins up to $200M Medicare contract

In a bit of good news unrelated to the scandal surrounding recently resigned former CEO Mark Hurd and former soft-porn actress Jodie Fisher, Hewlett-Packard Co. won a federal contract to help improve Medicare claims processing and service delivery. The contract, awarded by the U.S. Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, is for one base year with seven one-year renewal options.
