When given only a limited time frame in which to save a patient, having appropriate medication close to home can mean the difference between life and death.

For patients in Redlands and the East Valley suffering from the most frequent form of stroke, the likelihood of survival increased this month when Redlands Community Hospital began administering a drug that can minimize the impact caused by ischemic, or blood clot-induced, strokes.
