Hospital ending salary cutbacks

Thanks to a financially positive few months, administrators at Sonoma Valley Hospital announced last week they would lift the 5 percent salary reduction put on non-administrative employees in January.

“When we originally implemented them, we told (the staff) we’d implement (the pay cuts) for 90 days and then review where we are,” said Tim Noakes, chief financial officer at the hospital. “We’re at that mark … and we’re doing better financially.
