Hospital announces it will move long-term patients
Camarillo Acorn

Officials with St. John’s Pleasant Valley Hospital recently announced they must move about 30 subacute, or long-term, patients out of the Camarillo hospital by the end of the year in order to begin work to meet state-mandated earthquake safety standards.

The decision has upset hospital staff and means the patients’ family members, many of whom have moved to Camarillo in order to be near their loved ones, will also likely need to relocate.
