Home delivery: A safe alternative?

A neonatal nurse, an Antelope Valley physician, a full-time Apple Valley mom … They’re among a growing group of woman opting to deliver their babies at home, driven primarily by a desire to have a less medicalized experience.

“Women have been doing it for a long time, having babies,” Angela Price, 29, said with a chuckle. “I just think it’s better for the baby if you can at all possibly do it at home. It’s a calmer environment, there’s not so much intervention. I just think it’s natural.”
