HHS releases national immunization plan

HHS released a strategic plan for designing, implementing and evaluating the nation’s vaccination and immunization processes.

Called the 2010 National Vaccine Plan: Protecting the Nation’s Health through Immunization, the plan consists of two phases: a strategic 10-year plan for establishing goals and objectives to be followed by an implementation plan with measurable outcomes and processes to achieve the goals of the plan, according to an HHS fact sheet.
