Here we go again: CNA plans new one-day strike at Sutter hospitals
San Francisco Business Times

The California Nurses Association is taking another stab at a short strike against bete noire Sutter Health, in a planned 24-hour walkout set for Dec. 22. The Oakland-based union, led by longtime Executive Director Rose Ann DeMoro, gave Sutter the legally required 10-day notice on Friday. If it goes off as anticipated, the Christmas Week walkout would hit eight Sutter Health hospital and health center campuses in Northern California, including two Alta Bates Summit Medical Center campuses, in Berkeley and Oakland; Mills-Peninsula Health Services’ newly rebuilt Burlingame hospital and an outpatient center in San Mateo; Castro Valley’s Eden Medical Center; San Leandro Hospital; Antioch’s Sutter Delta Medical Center and Vallejo’s Sutter Solano Medical Center.
