HealthTap raises $3.25M for online health tools

Silicon Valley startup HealthTap said Wednesday it raised $2.35 million in convertible note seed financing. The Palo Alto-based company, which is in private beta until next month, offers online health tools. “Our goal is to eventually serve hundreds of millions of people,” said CEO and founder Ron Gutman. The funding round was led by by Menlo Park-based Mohr Davidow Ventures and will be used to enhance the company’s product and add more doctors and others users to its network.
