Health plans look at CalChoice as test for exchanges under reform

Griselda Barajas bought health insurance for herself and her workers through CaliforniaChoice because she liked the company’s customer service. A busy Sacramento caterer who juggles 20 customers a day, she likes the efficiency of one bill, several plan choices and extra benefits tossed in for free. Barajas is one of about 10,000 small employers who participate in what is touted as the largest health insurance exchange in the nation.
