GOP senators vow to repeal reform law

As the U.S. Senate returns to session on Tuesday, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) reiterated his promise from last week that the legislative body will vote to repeal the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. “I assure you we’ll have a vote on repeal,” McConnell told Chris Wallace on “Fox News Sunday.” “If that does not pass—and I don’t think anyone is optimistic that it will—we intend to go after this healthcare bill in every way that we can,” he added. “It’s the single worst piece of legislation that has passed in my time in the Senate.”
