Expanded facility ready to open at Desert Valley Hospital
Victorville Daily Press

Desert Valley Hospital has completed its nearly $40 million expansion project and is ready to start operating new surgical suites and beds as soon as the state grants a license.

The expansion, which broke ground in 2008, was prompted in large part by the hospital-bed shortage in the growing local community. The new 50,000-square-foot wing adds 53 new beds to the Victorville hospital, along with 12 new intensive care unit rooms.
