Dogs help patients recover at Vacaville hospital

Tuesday may have dawned sunny and clear, but Dixon’s Glenda Moore wasn’t in the mood. She was tired, ailing from a recent knee surgery and just had a case of the blahs.

That is, until Cyndr the miniature labradoodle sashayed into her hospital room at Vacaville’s Kaiser Permanente. Dark eyed, petite and wagging a body full of curls that felt like polar fleece, the puppy brought a smile to Moore’s face that brightened her whole outlook.
