CMS orders three insurers to quit marketing Advantage, drug plans

The CMS has ordered three insurers to stop marketing and enrollment of their Medicare Advantage and prescription drug plans. Health Net of Woodland Hills, Calif., Arcadian Management Services of Oakland, Calif., and Universal American Corp. of Houston were sanctioned by the CMS. Health Net must stop marketing and enrollment immediately, while the other two insurers must cease by Dec. 5, according to the CMS.
