Clinton warns insurers about clinging to outdated business models

Former President Bill Clinton told members of the insurance industry they should be “in the future business” instead of clinging to outdated, unsustainable business models.

Clinton was the keynote speaker at a luncheon in Las Vegas of the annual conference of America’s Health Insurance Plans, the leading trade group for insurers. Clinton praised the industry for supporting healthcare reform but cautioned there is much more work to do.
