Central Valley hospital fined by state
Central Valley Business Times

The California Department of Public Health (CDPH) has fined 12 California hospitals, including Emanuel Medical Center of Turlock, after the state found what it called noncompliance with licensing requirements that caused, or were likely to cause, serious injury or death to patients. It did not provide details. Emanuel Medical Center failed to ensure the health and safety of a patient when it did not follow its policies and procedures for the safe distribution and administration of medication, the state says.
