San Francisco Chronicle

An Orange County cancer doctor has been sentenced to 18 months in prison for defrauding Medicare, Blue Shield and Blue Cross of up to $1 million by sending in bills for expensive injection drugs that were never given to patients.

A federal judge on Monday sentenced 66-year-old Dr. Glen R. Justice, who pleaded guilty last year to five counts of health care fraud. The Corona del Mar resident ran the Pacific Coast Hematology/Oncology Medical Group in Fountain Valley.
