Business as usual after Marin General management transition

Six weeks after Marin General Hospital returned to local public control, business appears to be going on as usual with only a few glitches. In the wee hours of June 30, the Marin Healthcare District board removed Marin General Hospital Corp.’s board of directors, controlled by Sutter Health, and installed its own hand-picked directors, who will oversee day-to-day operations of the Greenbrae hospital. The move came as part of a legal settlement and officially terminated the healthcare district’s stormy 15-year relationship with Sutter.
