“Bloodless” medical care offered

Hortencia Ramirez had been limping and in constant pain for three years, but had given up on ever feeling better. As a Jehovah’s Witness, she couldn’t accept a blood transfusion and didn’t know of a hospital that would perform hip-replacement surgery without one. Then she discovered Sharp Chula Vista’s Bloodless Medicine and Surgery Center, which provides care and surgeries for patients like Ramirez. It’s the only hospital in San Diego County with a “bloodless” medicine center.
